Homecoming - help create a forever home for Studio Two Three

As Studio Two Three celebrates 14 years of wild, joyful and powerful growth, we’ve embarked on our biggest project to date: we bought our very own building and are transforming it into a permanent home for Richmond artists.

We believe in the power of making art in community, and we know that Richmond will always need affordable, accessible spaces that support new generations of artists, makers, builders and dreamers.

This is why we bought our own building.

Last November, we purchased the former Dogtown Dance Theatre - a historic schoolhouse turned community arts space in Manchester, where we got our start 14 years ago. This time, instead of a tiny, rented room, we own a big, beautiful building that will be open 24/7 for artists and the Richmond arts community long into the future.

To date, we have secured the funds to purchase the building and worked with brilliant designers & architects on a buildout that will make it perfect for everything we do at Studio Two Three.

Now, we need your help to transform the building into our forever home.

Your gift to our Homecoming campaign will help us renovate our new building - creating a 3000 square foot community event space, 3 community print shops, an artist residency studio, 20 private artist studios, and exterior gardens & gathering space for artists and the Manchester community.

We have a future in Richmond because of the real love and support of people like you - who value, treasure, and invest in locally-rooted arts.

Please help us create a permanent home for all of the artists, organizations, students, and joyful change-makers of Studio Two Three.
